26 Days Until Wrestlemania 28.

It is now time to take a look at a match that has been erased from WWE history for tragic reasons. Despite what your opinion of a certain individual in this match is, and what he did, it does not erase the fact that the Triple Threat Match Event at  Wrestlemania 20 was one of the better main event matches in the entire history of Wrestlemania. Chris Benoit, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H is today's match of the day.

Eighteen years is a long time in wrestling. It was the time where Chris Benoit clawed his way to the top to Wrestlemania 20. The price for glory can be rather high, one glory is fleeting. However, regardless, Chris Benoit scored an impressive victory in the 2004 Royal Rumble, last eliminating the Big Show. Meanwhile Shawn Michaels and Triple H had been feuding throughout 2002, 2003, and 2004. Despite Benoit receiving a title shot by virtue of winning the Royal Rumble, coming over to RAW, Shawn Michaels found his way in and as a result, a Triple Threat Match was made.

The match was a spectacle and one of the greatest matches that you will ever be seen, even if a certain move will bring chills to the spine of anyone in hindsight. Still Chris Benoit after an impressive Triple Threat Match, made Triple H tap out to the Crippler Crossface. It was certainly a moment, when long time wrestling fans were overjoyed by. Benoit's long time friend and in ring rival, Eddie Guerrero, stepped right down to the ring, and celebrated, with Benoit as the World Heavyweight Champion and Eddie Guerrero as WWE Champion. While I don't think anyone can forget and perhaps forgive what Chris Benoit's last days were, in a world before that moment, it was the most beloved match and one that if you feel so inclined, no one should hold it against anyone who wants to watch it.

What new Wrestlemania moments will occur at WWE Wrestlemania 28 April 1st 2012. Find out in 26 Days.
