WWE Smackdown was taped on May 29th 2012 and will be airing on June 1st 2012 on the Sy Fy Network. WWE claims this is the first WWE Championship Match on Smackdown in eight years between CM Punk and Kane but naturally WWE is wrong, as Triple H defended the belt several times in 2008 on Smackdown, against the likes of the Big Show and the Undertaker. Alberto Del Rio gets to pick the opponent of Sheamus for later tonight.
Sin Cara made his televised return on WWE Smackdown over Heath Slater.
Damien Sandow tried to bow out of a match with Ezekiel Jackson but Big Zeke was having none of it. Ezekiel Jackson tosses Sandow back into the ring. Regardless, Damien Sandow continues his winning ways on WWE Smackdown with a win over Ezekiel Jackson.
Ryback crushed two poor unfortunate souls.
Dolph Ziggler was the opponent Alberto Del Rio picked for Sheamus. The World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus then picked up the win right over Dolph Ziggler.
Zack Ryder and Santino Marella joined forces to defeat the duo of Darren Young and Titus O'Neil. Then the Big Show decimated Santino and Ryder.
Cody Rhodes won a quick match against Tyson Kidd.
CM Punk and Kane battled to a no decision when Daniel Bryan got involved, setting up a Triple Threat Match at Over the Limit between Daniel Bryan, Kane, and CM Punk.
There you have it, another week of the WWE Smackdown spoilers down the drain. Seems like a shot that is just there as it is most weeks but watch WWE Smackdown on the Sy Fy Network this week as always at 8:00 PM Eastern Time.
