WWE Money in the Bank 2012 Report

Santino Marella and Zack Ryder talk about Santino being in Money in the Back, but Damien Sandow comes in to use big words and vow victory.

WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and R-Truth defeated Hunico and Camacho

We kick off things on YouTube, Facebook, and WWE.com for the pre show match with the WWE Tag Team Champions in action. Kofi is trapped in the ring, hot tag. R-Truth runs wild. Hunico gets take out with the Trouble in Paradise and then R-Truth hits the Little Jimmy on Camacho to score the pin.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Christian, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Santino Marella, Sin Cara, Tensai, and Tyson Kidd to win the World Heavyweight Title Money in the Bank Match.

Insane spot fest right here a lot of the way through. There were some insane bumps, some cringeworthy stuff. Sin Cara took the same bump that covered for his Wellness Suspension last year. As many expected, this was Dolph's night and Dolph's match as he grabbed the briefcase.

Miz returns to interject himself into the other Money in the Bank Ladder Match. New hair cut, move star, likely the same push as in none but we'll see.

World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus defeated Alberto Del Rio to retain the title with the Brogue Kick

Del Rio finally gets his long awaited title shot, with lots of arm work. However, he got arrogant and Sheamus hits the White Noise and takes out Del Rio with the Brogue Kick.

Here comes Dolph to try and cash in. He gets into a scuffle with Del Rio and gets knocked out with the Brogue Kick. For a moment, I thought they were going to do what I feared what they were going to do, but since the bell did not win, the match does not count.

Daniel Bryan talks about A.J. and his match with CM Punk, accusing CM Punk of poisoning A.J's mind.

Epico and Primo defeated Titus O'Neil and Darren Young

Good action but the crowd was not into this one at Money in the Bank 2012 at all. I thought this would be the best match on any given week of WWE Superstars or NXT but here tonight, it's really not good. Primo gets the pin. After the fact, R-Truth and Kofi get into a scuffle with the Prime Time Players. The Players are going to likely win the belts, and likely do absolutely nothing with them like heatless heel teams like the Bashams or La Resistance that can before them.

CM Punk defeated Daniel Bryan to retain the WWE Championship

Match was not as good as it could have been, not good as it should have been, but still good. There was some plunder used in this match, which made it very different. Yeah and A.J. was the special guest referee can't forget that. Belly to back superplex right through a table by Punk to Daniel Bryan gets the pin and Punk keeps the title.

Ryback defeated Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins

Feed him more. It is a shame that one of the more entertaining heel duos in WWE got sacrificed to Ryback but what are you going to do? Ryback hits a Samoan Drop. I do hope there is some kind of long term version to Ryback. On the bright side, he is more entertaining on Crimson.

Layla, Kaitlyn, and Tamina defeated Beth Phoenix, Natalya, and Eve

Hey, filler but Kaitlyn gets a Pay Per View pay day, so good for her. It is the Divas. What do you expect? Layla pins Beth Phoenix.

John Cena won the WWE Championship Money in the Bank to against Chris Jericho, The Miz, The Big Show, and Kane.

Another epic match, Miz added to this match kind of gave them a bit more to work with, so that was a smart last minute decision. As expected, John Cena won, after nailing Big Show in the face with the briefcase, which came into his hand. Yes, John Cena wins Money in the Bank as expected. Here's to hoping he fails because we really do need someone to. Because there is no drama if everyone keeps succeeding and John Cena is one of the guys that can get away with being the first ever Money in the Bank failure and not have it do damage to his career. I half expected Miz to win his second Money in the Bank and fail the moment he was added, but Cena was good too. So good main event.

Show was good, with obviously some filler added, but that's been par for the course with WWE. Nothing on par with last year, but that was one the best WWE Pay Per Views in years.
