WWE RAW for September 24th 2012
featured the build up for WWE Hell in a Cell. Plus Jerry Lawler
returns to the show, to give an interview. The Wrestling Emporium
will give some thought on RAW. Three things I liked, three things I
did not like, and a rundown of the results of the show. Let us dive
into WWE RAW for September 24th 2012.
WWE RAW 09/24/12.
RAW is still three
hours, and this show really was a weird one.
RAW Results for
9/24/12.
CM Punk and Paul Heyman talk in the ring. Heyman makes an indecent
proposal to A.J. and gets slapped in the face. Likely not the first
time Heyman got slapped by a woman.
Dolph Ziggler over Kofi Kingston with the Zig Zag.
The Prime Time Players joined forces to defeat Santino Marella and
Zack Ryder.
Mick Foley suggests Punk stop being a statistic and challenge Cena at
Hell in Cell.
Ryback picked up the win over the Miz in a non title match.
Wade Barrett won over Tyson Kidd.
Jerry Lawler will return when the time is right.
Alberto Del Rio, Ricardo Rodiguez, and David Otunga defeated Sheamus,
Rey Mysterio, and Sin Cara.
Daniel Bryan and Kane are Team Hell No, and Cody Rhodes and Damien
Sandow are the Rhdoes Scholars. A feud is a feud after all here in
WWE.
Eve and Beth Phoenix defeated Alicia Fox and Layla. Kaitlyn returned,
and Beth Phoenix was blamed for attacking here, then attacked by Eve.
Brodus Clay and Tensai never really had much of a match, until Big
Show ran out, making his return after disappearing for a month.
John Cena and CM Punk is set up for Hell in a Cell. Cena nails Punk
with a pipe, and Mick Foley is involved to get beat up.
Three Things I
Liked:
Jerry Lawler's interview was a piece of good news in a business that
is often buried in great tragedy. While seeing him back in the ring
might not be the best idea, let's hope the King can really return to
entertaining the WWE Universe.
Daniel Bryan and Kane have grown on me. "Team Hell No" is
one of the best tag team names in wrestling since Beer Money. Then we
have Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, or the Rhodes Scholars bringing
up the lead. This might be one of the more intriguing tag team feuds
in years.
Six man tag team match with Sheamus, Rey Mysterio, and Sin Cara
against Alberto Del Rio, David Otunga, and Ricardo Rodiguez was a fun
little match.
Three Things I
Didn't Like:
Tensai and Brodus Clay have a random match. Big Show randomly runs
in, and attacks them. I did not notice the Big Show had been off of
WWE television for months.
Divas had a particular ponderous match that was just destined to fill
time on this three hour WWE RAW show.
Hey, everyone its Dolph Ziggler against Kofi Kingston for the nine
millionth time. This was a good match, but just cut this match out
already. It's been done to death since 2010.
