WWE RAW 10/01/12 Results.

As always, the Wrestling Emporium runs down some thoughts on WWE RAW. First we have the results, and then three things this reviewer like and did not like about this past week's RAW.

 WWE RAW 10/01/12

As always, we kick off with the results of WWE RAW for October 1st 2012.

Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio defeated Epico and Primo.

United States Champion Antonio Cesaro defeated Brodus Clay.

The WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz defeated Zack Ryder.

Ryback picked up the win over Tensai.

WWE Diva's Champion Eve picked up the win over Beth Phoenix.

Santino Marella defeated Heath Slater via disqualification.

World Champion Sheamus defeated Damien Sandow.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Kofi Kingston.

The WWE Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan and Kane defeated CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler.

Three Things I Liked About WWE RAW 10/1/12:

The Tag Team Main Event was good fun. Although the fact A.J. is being crammed down our throats is starting to get a little tiring. I hope that there is some kind of end game to this. I would love to see Paul Heyman as the General Manager. I mean it's not like he's going to be let anywhere near the pocketbook to begin with.

Tag Team Tournament shows good promise. Actually the tag team action on RAW as of late has been the highlight. If we just get rid of the singles matches and cut the show down to an hour of nothing but tag team wrestling, it would be the best show on television.

Ryback's push is something that I like in theory. Given WWE's inability to push new people in the recent past, and their inability to push the real Goldberg, I don't like where this might go. Although if anyone can make Ryback look like a star, it's CM Punk.

Three Things I Hated About WWE RAW.

Filler on this show, way too much filler on this show. Smackdown doesn't need to exist, WWE Main Event doesn't need to exist, Saturday Morning Slam doesn't need to exist, and RAW should be about ninety minutes. That is all.

The Great Championship debate between Sheamus and the Big Show was uninspired. Although Big Show did try.

Jinder Mahal was on my television screen. Drew McIntyre was better off jobbing to Alex Riley on Superstars.
