Brad Armstrong Passes Away

Combing over the latest news on the Internet, it was a shock to see one of the solid performers from back in the day, Brad Armstrong pass away. Only at the Age of 51, he was the son of the legendary "Bullet" Bob Armstrong, and the brother of Steve, Scott, and Brian "the Road Dogg" Armstrong.

Perhaps not the most dynamic performer in the world, but always that solid hand that you could count on to have a good and entertaining match. During the WCW B-Shows like Saturday Night, Worldwide, Pro, or Main Event, you normally had a decent match. I remember back in 1996, he had a match with Ric Flair that was pretty good. He was never going to hold a major championship, but he would always be a solid hand in the ring.

The Wrestling Emporium offers its condolences to the family and friends of Brad Armstrong during this trying time. He was one of the more solid hands in the ring, but as much as he will be missed by fans who remembered him from back in the day, those who knew him well lost a son, a brother, and a friend.
