WWE
Main Event 12/26/12 Review.
So what did this reviewer think
when he watched WWE Main Event for December 26th 2012? Main Event is
always a solid show, and an hour is the perfect length for a wrestling show. I
enjoyed this week’s effort from WWE Main Event myself, and it had two rather
solid matches.
The Battle Royal was a great deal
of chaotic fun. The commentary was less than a sight to behold, but I’ve
trained myself to block out a lot of the WWE’s commentary as of late. It is
just a survival instinct I’ve developed as a wrestling fan. The Great Khali
wins the match, looking like a monster. This result will make Antonio Cesaro
look like a world beater when he defeats him next week, and he continues to
reign supreme as the United States Champion.
The other match was a tag team
match. Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel took on 2/3rds of the 3MB in Jinder Mahal
and Drew McIntyre. This bout resulted in a fun little tag team match. Kidd,
Gabriel, and McIntyre are always good, and Mahal has shown enough improvement
where he can hold up his end of the bargain most weeks. The result was a good
tag team match. The tag team finisher of Kidd and Gabriel was awesome.
Next week, Antonio Cesaro defends
the United States Championship against the Great Khali. Can Cesaro hit him with
the Neutralizer? We’re just going to have to wait and see, won’t we?
