The road to WWE Wrestlemania 28 is winding down only nine days away and one of the huge competitors who will be a part of WWE Wrestlemania 28 is the Undertaker as always, with his 19-0 Wrestlemania record. Can the Undertaker go 20-0 when he takes on Triple H in Hell in a Cell at Wrestlemania 28? It will truly be an end of an era but let's dial back the clock to Wrestlemania 14 where the Undertaker took on Kane.
9 Days Until Wrestlemania 28
Back in 1997, Paul Bearer tried to blackmail the Undertaker with a dirty little secret. The Undertaker set a fire that killed his brother Kane and their parents, but as it turns out, the Undertaker's brother Kane was alive. He showed up for the first time at Bad Blood 1997, lead by Paul Bearer. Kane took out the Undertaker cost him his Hell in a Cell Match against Shawn Michaels. Over the next several months, Kane and Paul Bearer tried to goad the Undertaker into a match. The Undertaker stood the high ground.
Until the 1998 WWF Royal Rumble where Kane assaulted the Undertaker and choke slammed him in a casket. with the help of Paul Bearer, Kane lit the casket on fire. The Undertaker disappeared for a month but returned with a renewed vengeance. A vengeance where he would square against Kane on March 29th 1998 at WWF Wrestlemania 14 from Boston MA.
After Kane took out Pete Rose for the first time in a recurring event in the next three years, for the first time ever, the first of many times, the Undertaker squared off with Kane. It was a hell of fight, with the Undertaker taking on Kane and it took not one, not two, but three thunderous Tombstone Piledrivers to pin Kane. The feud would not be over, but the Undertaker was 7-0 at Wrestlemania 14.
As an addition, the Undertaker and Kane met again at Wrestlemania 20 on March 14th 2004 at Madison Square Garden. Kane had helped Vince McMahon win a Buried Alive Match at Survivor Series 2003, burying the American Badass version of the Undertaker. The return of the deadman took place at Madison Square Garden. This time Paul Bearer was on the side of the Undertaker and Undertaker took Kane down with the Tombstone Piledriver to receive a 12-0 record at Wrestlemania 20.
The Undertaker is going for a milestone, the 20-0 record when he takes on Triple H at Wrestlemania 28 on April 1st 2012 from Miami Florida.
