WWE NXT 01/18/12 Report

It is now time for the recap of the one hundredth episode of WWE NXT for January 18th 2012. Tonight’s main event, is the Wedding of Johnny Curtis and Maxine. Let’s take a look at all of the highlights(a term used loosely for this show) of the 100th episode of NXT.

WWE NXT 1/18/12 Report.

A recap of the recent situation between Derrick Bateman, Johnny Curtis, and Maxine, leading to the Wedding tonight Johnny Curtis and Maxine tie the knot.

The recent change with the intro indicates that WWE has finally realizing what we fans have realized months ago, that the competition is dead and this is the ECW brand, only under a different name and with no title.
For the 100th Episode of NXT, the original voice, Michael Cole, makes his triumphant return to the program. Talk about waking up and getting coal for Christmas…in the form of Cole.

Titus O’Neil defeated Darren Young in a No Disqualification Match.

We kick things off with a feud that has been brewing, oh for the past forty six weeks. Michael Cole buries Titus, the show, and pretty much everything on commentary. I know you’re pretty shocked. I won’t bring up every stupid Cole moment on this show, because we’ll be doing this report forever. Match was passable enough, with Titus O’Neil surviving the Double Knee Gutbuster and Hitting the Clash of the Titus to get the pin. Then Titus O’Neil cuts a promo, ripping into the fans and turning heel. Cole buries Titus’s promo and let’s face it, it wasn’t that good.

Johnny Curtis has a tuxedo t-shirt. How very ghetto of him.

Percy Watson defeated Heath Slater in an Alumni Match.

Again, this was a rather by the numbers match as per this show. The developmental league, FCW, has more sense than this. Percy Watson gets the win. He does have a future, although not on this show.

The Usos defile Maxine’s dress.

Maxine is not happy and Curtis tries to calm her down. Then Maxine leaves and here comes Kaitlyn, who Curtis promptly hits on.

Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins defeated Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu

Short but perfectly acceptable tag team encounter between these four young competitors. Michael Cole tries to take credit for Daniel Bryan’s title win and he also buries Josh Mathews. Hawkins uses the cane on Trent and Reks gets the win.

RAW Rebound, fun with John Laurinaitis, Mick Foley, and CM Punk.

Time for the wedding, decorated by the best toilet paper money can buy. Here comes Matt Striker dressed as Elvis to do the honors. He was ordained earlier today by Carrot Top. Johnny Curtis is out with some random bum as his best man. That does seem to fit Johnny Curtis. Maxine is out and she’s not happy about the best man but Curtis vouches for him. The man wants to meet Hillbilly Jim.

Are there any objections? Well it turns out that Derrick Bateman does in fact object, as we see footage, helpfully dated of Johnny Curtis stealing Derrick Bateman’s phone and sending a message. Curtis should be in the Guinness Book of World Records as he sets the land speed record for typing. Maxine slaps Curtis and we have brawl between Derrick Bateman and Johnny Curtis. Then Maxine smacks Bateman in the face and then kicks him.

I hate this show for agreeing with Michael Cole, but I wasted an hour of my life, for this?
