Nineteen Days Until Wrestlemania 28

Today's Wrestlemania Spotlight, the Battle of the Billionaires from Wrestlemania 23 with Umaga representing Vince McMahon against Bobby Lashley representing Donald Trump, where the billionaire representing the losing wrestler who had their head shaved completely bald.

There was going to be a Bald Billionaire. At least that was the tag line for Wrestlemania 23 featuring the Battle of the Billionaires between Vince McMahon and Donald trump. Granted, there was a match with Umaga representing McMahon and Bobby Lashley representing Donald Trump. But let us not kid ourselves for the slightest moment, this match was centered around Vince McMahon, Donald Trump, and their hair and there just happened to be a wrestling match.

Donald Trump's hair is rather legendary and well...there had been rumors of Vince McMahon wearing a toupee and many inside jokes over the year. So the truth about that all would come to ahead on April 1st 2007 at Wrestlemania 23. Both men would pick a warrior. Umaga was the latest monster heel that was fed to John Cena in his rise to the top. He also had a number of impressive wins and held the WWE Intercontinental Title during one of the periods where WWE seemed to be taking that belt a bit too more seriously. Bobby Lashley had been a pet project, even if he had less than stellar microphone skills(Finlay your Bath-Turd). Yet it was about Donald Trump, Vince McMahon, and their hair. If Umaga won, Donald Trump would get shaved bald. If Lashley won, than Vince McMahon would be heading to the barber chair.

Did I fail to mention one important detail? The fact that there would be a special guest referee, Stone Cold Steve Austin. He would keep the billionaires and the competitors in line. Umaga vs. Lashley was a decent brawl, but again, the wrestlers in the ring, it didn't matter. Rather it mattered which billionaire would be getting shaved. Despite some help from his son Shane, Vince McMahon was foiled, when Lashley beat Umaga. Then Vince McMahon, acting like the barber's chair was the electric chair, shaved his head. Than Donald Trump look the absolute worst Stone Cold Stunner ever. Still at was a Wrestlemania moment. And the mystery of Donald Trump's hair remains.

And five years later, there will be more Wrestlemania moments, April 1st 2012 in Miami WWE Wrestlemania 28.
