As suspected, WWE adds a match that will have severe ramifications for WWE. The winning team will secure the General Manager Spot for either John Laurinaitis and Teddy Long for both RAW and Smackdown. It will be teams of six, a twelve man tag team action.
Team Laurinaitis vs Team Teddy Added for Wrestlemania 28, Twelve Man Tag, The Man Who's Team Wins Will Get the Full General Manager Spot
This would be a perfect match to mask some people who will be injured or perhaps a bit weaker in the ring. Given events of Elimination Chamber, it appears that Alberto Del Rio, Mark Henry, and Christian will likely be on Johnny Boy's team. Then Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger have nothing better to do. Drew McIntyre has a beef with Teddy Long. As for Teddy, well Kofi Kingston would be an obvious pick, and Santino Marella would be potentially on the team as well. The babyface side is a bit lean, but maybe a returning Rey Mysterio if he is back in time for Wrestlemania. Maybe Brodus Clay will be brought back onto television, Justin Gabriel might be a possibility as well.
Nothing is for sure but perhaps tonight on RAW, we will get some team members from both sides announced. This match replaces the once rumored Money in the Bank Match.
