Evan Bourne to Return from Suspension

Back in January, Evan Bourne violated the WWE Wellness policy for the second time. Given the fact that it was so soon after first Wellness Policy violation, it did not paint Evan Bourne in the most favorable light to say the very least. Yet officially speaking, Evan Bourne is going to return on March 18th.

Evan Bourne's Two Month Suspension is Up on March 18th

What does the future hold for Evan Bourne? Well there might be a need for another warm body for Team Teddy Long for the GM vs. GM Twelve Man Tag Team Match. Evan Bourne has been thrown out as a very tentative possibility but really one must wonder if it is wise trusting someone who had two Wellness policy violations so close together, back to back.

But given the injury problems in WWE, Bourne might have to do right now. Rey Mysterio might be coming back and WWE might have wanted Sin Cara, but given the extent of his injury, it is obviously not going to be him as a high flyer. One might think that a more reliable hand like Justin Gabriel, who wrestles a very similar high flying style, and has a clean record would be a better choice. He's worked hard, kept his nose clean, and really has not had the baggage that Evan Bourne has had.

WWE would kind of look rather foolish giving someone who had already blundered not only twice, but twice within a few months and was suspended a match at Wrestlemania 28. The biggest way to really teach someone a lesson would not just be to suspend them, but to swipe their Wrestlemania payday out from underneath them. But given the injury problems in WWE, they might be inclined to throw Bourne a bone.

Of course, nothing is for certain with WWE until Bourne is actually back on television. He could return from his second violation of the WWE Wellness Policy but still be banished from television for quite some time. To the point where he is wished the best in his future endeavors.

So Bourne's name has been floated out there as a potential member of Team Teddy Long, which might be sending the wrong message to the rest of the WWE locker room. Given that many of them are a bit uptight about the Rock, I could only imagine how agitated that might be about this.

Regardless we shall see what WWE does. The ball is in their court and one young man who made some foolish decisions might pay the price.
