Impact Wrestling Spoilers 5/17/12

In a dark match, Mike Knox defeated Devon. No word on if he had his epic beard or not.

Bobby Roode comes to gloat, he is going to break the record for longest reigning TNA Champion and he demands a celebration party. Hulk Hogan is out to announce the return of Open Fight Night next week, with Roode putting his belt on the line. Tonight there will be a series of contender matches, where the winners advance to a fatal four way match next week where the winner takes on Bobby Roode in the main event on May 24th 2012 for the TNA Championship.

Bully Ray scored a win over Rob Van Dam. So Bully Ray and RVD lose their matches this Sunday but are in contention. Makes perfect sense to me doesn't it?

AJ Styles won a battle royal to advance right into the fatal four way match next week.

Kazarian and Daniels come out, showing a picture of AJ Styles and Dixie Carter entering a hotel room. Now c'mon now, that can be a perfectly legit business meeting.

Gail Kim hung onto her TNA Knockout's Title in a Three Way Dance over Brooke Tessmacher and Velvet Sky.

Jeff Hardy avenged his loss this past Sunday Night by scoring the win over Mr. Anderson.

Kurt Angle defeated Samoa Joe in a return match from a couple of the highest bought TNA shows ever.
Now just another match. Likely to be good if Joe can be bothered. If he isn't, then it will just merely be fine.
Roode stares down his potential challengers of Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, and Bully Ray.

There were your spoilers for Impact Wrestling on May 17th 2012 airing on Spike TV.
