WWE NXT for May 30th 2012, featured a
huge six man tag team main event match with the return of Justin
Gabriel as he teamed up with Percy Watson and Derrick Bateman to take
on Johnny Curtis, JTG, and Michael McGillicutty. Plus Kaitlyn faces
Tamina and The Usos go up against the dastardly duo of Tyler Reks and
Curt Hawkins. It is the season that keeps stumbling along, until the
other NXT can find a television home, this is the latest episode of
NXT Season 5 Redemption for May 30th 2012.

Kaitlyn defeated Tamina.
Justin Gabriel, Percy Watson, and Derrick Bateman defeated JTG,
Michael McGillicutty, and Johnny Curtis when Gabriel pinned JTG.

Report
Up a bit later than usual. I waited around for a couple of hours,
then gave up, did other things, and Randy Orton got suspended, so NXT
was the furthest thing from my mind. And then it was too late by the
time I remembered it existed, so here's your review in the morning.
Curt Hawkins
and Tyler Reks defeated The Uso Brothers
Here we go, a match that we have seen many times since September on
NXT. Both teams put on a good show but this entire season just had
the fun sucked out of it in the last few weeks and it is just
Superstars hour two. Which is not a bad thing, just NXT was different
and now its treading water. Anyway, Hawkins and Reks are looking to
make a name for himself. I do chuckle pretty much every time they say
the tag team division is getting hotter. True in a sense but not so
much in another sense. Hawkins and Reks hits a double team move to
pin Jey, powerslam into a hangman's neckbreaker.
ECW Unreleased DVD commercial, narrated by Paul Heyman. Never before
released. Well outside of bootlegs maybe. But those don't count. That
commercial made me want to buy that DVD.
Kaitlyn
defeated Tamina
Yeah its a Divas match on NXT, this is what it is. They try and hold
together some semblance of this show, with Maxine on commentary. It
is a nice token effort, but it is like a ghostwriter finishing up a
popular series of books after the author had a meltdown, the zing is
not there. Kaitlyn finishes off Tamina with her leg full nelson.
WWE RAW Rebound features the Ballad of the Big Show.
They actually did correct the mistake about the WWE Championship
being on the line for the first time in four years, as opposed to
eight years, so kudos to that.

McGillicutty, and JTG
Several of the top young superstars in NXT and JTG compete in this
six man tag team main event. Justin Gabriel is making his return.
Jimmy the Gimmick reference from Regal for the win. This is a great
six man tag team match, really masking the weaknesses of some of the
competitors of this match while adding to the strengths. It all
breaks down, with Gabriel scoring with a sweet springboard spinning
DDT for the pin on JTG. The trio of Justin Gabriel, Derrick Bateman,
and Percy Watson win the main event on WWE NXT.
Some solid wrestling on this show, but its obvious that they have
been given up.
