WWE NXT Review 05/23/12

It is now time for this week's episode of WWE NXT Redemption for May 23rd 2012. Until the new NXT gets a television network home, we'll see have new episodes airing each and every week on WWE.Com. On today's show we have Ezekiel Jackson and the Great Khali taking on Johnny Curtis and Drew McIntyre. Plus Derrick Bateman meets Jinder Mahal, Percy Watson vs Heath Slater, and Alicia Fox against Maxine.

Jinder Mahal scored the win over Derrick Bateman with the Camel Clutch

Percy Watson won his match over Heath Slater.

Maxine makes Alicia Fox submit to a bodyscissored dragon sleeper.

Ezekiel Jackson and the Great Khali teamed up to defeat Johnny Curtis and Drew McIntyre when Khali pinned Curtis with the Punjabi Plunge.

WWE NXT Review 5/23/12

Jinder Mahal defeated Derrick Bateman

Yeah we're going to have some lame duck shows, as this show appears to be pretty much straight wrestling. Of course there is a potential for good wrestling. One of the better matches that Mahal has had and Bateman is fired up, but Mahal applies a camel clutch for the submission to get the win on NXT.

Percy Watson defeated Heath Slater

Both men are obviously capable of at least a capable match, even if it is the same by the numbers match for FCW/NXT/Superstars that we have seen in various combinations. Back and forth between two of the young superstars in WWE, with Percy Watson picking up the win.

Maxine defeated Alicia Fox

This was a rather violent divas match and rather enjoyable, with Maxine just rather being vicious in assaulting Alicia Fox and Alicia Fox returning fire with it. Alicia goes for a bridging roll up but Maxine counters with a bodyscissored dragon sleeper for a vicious tap out. Maxine scores the win by submission tonight on WWE NXT.

RAW Rebound featuring John Cena, John Laurinaitis, and the Big Show.

Great Khali and Ezekiel Jackson defeated Drew McIntyre and Johnny Curtis

A brand new tag team of McIntyre and Curtis joining forces, took a while to get things going but the heels isolated Ezekiel, working on the leg. Hot tag to the Great Khali and Khali hits the Punjabi Plunge to pin Curtis as Jackson takes out McIntyre.

The Great Khali and Ezekiel Jackson celebrate for the fans, as we fade out another episode of NXT done.
