Florida
Championship Wrestling 6/24/12 Report
Hype from Bryon
Saxton, Antonio Cesaro, and William Regal for the Florida Heavyweight
Champion Seth Rollins defending against Dean Ambrose. Cesaro is so
excited he forgot to speak English and Regal is silent. Let's head
down to the ring.
Kenneth Cameron and Conor O'Brian
defeated Alexander Rusev and Colin Cassady
Showcase match for
the Ascension on Florida Championship Wrestling, as Cassady and Rusev
are a mix matched pairing, who really do not work that well together.
A miscue, allows the Ascension to pick up the win with the Downcast.
Kassius Ohno defeated Garrett Dylan
James Bronson
comes out with Garrett Dylan. Pretty fine match, with Ohno easing
into the style right here in FCW and Dylan being solid. Both men
exchange moves but Ohno in the end whacks Dylan with a shot to the
head with the rolling elbow smash. Kassius Ohno picks up the win on
Florida Championship Wrestling.
Erick Rowan scored the win over
Benacio Salazar
Rowan is back,
with a pelt that Cesaro says was from a reindeer he shot in Norway.
Salazar is without his mask. Rowan hits a huge choke slam and pins
Salazar in less than a minute. A commanding return on Florida
Championship Wrestling featuring Erick Rowan.
Seth Rollins retained the Florida
Championship Title over Dean Ambrose
Here we go,
returning to the feud that made me a fan of FCW. William Regal is a
master on commentary, talking about how Ambrose is likely to end his
career and how he is going to try and delay the inevitable. Ambrose
hurts his shoulder, which plays right into the rest of the match.
Rollins has his knee worked over but kicked into the post injured
shoulder into the post and Avada Kedavra and springboard curb stomp,
not enough. Rollins goes for the Regal Stretch but Ambrose bites his
way out. Curb Stomp and Seth Rollins survives another title defense.
Good main event
concludes Florida Championship Wrestling. So long from the sunshine
state.
