WWE NXT 7/4/12 Report
Jim Ross and Bryon
Saxton welcome us to this week's NXT.
Sofia Cortez
defeated Paige
The Divas kick off this week on NXT. Paige is already in the ring.
Wrestling 101 states that those already in the ring are going to
lose. Fair for the time it caught, with Sofia picking up the win with
a bodyscissors turned into a DDT.
Kassius Ohno debuts tonight. But first Seth Rollins against Camacho
on NXT.
Seth Rollins
defeated Camacho
Hunico comes out with Camacho, and Seth Rollins does his usual crazed
entrance. It is power versus speed in this encounter. Nothing much,
with Hunico's interference nearly getting the win for Camacho. Second
attempt of interference is avoided and Camacho and Hunico have the
meeting of the minds, before Rollins hits the Curb Stomp to score the
pin on NXT.
Hunico and Camacho beat down Rollins after the match but Bo Dallas
makes the save.
Jake Carter
and Corey Graves defeated Nick Rogers and CJ Parker
Bit of a squash her from Graves and Carter, as once again Rogers and
Parker don't get entrances. Powerslam/neckbreaker deal get the win
for Graves and Carter here on WWE NXT.
A video package look at Kassius Ohno who will be making his debut.
Kassius Ohno
defeated Mike Dalton
Decent showcase for Ohno here on WWE NXT. Mike Dalton was trained by
Lance Storm for those who did not know. Ohno pulls out his Rolling
Elbow Smash called the K'O for the pin on Dalton.
After the match, Kassius Ohno informs us he knocks people out and
when they see Kassius coming, they say oh no.
Another Bray Wyatt vignette. And he's in action next week.
Jinder Mahal
defeated Derrick Bateman
Bateman gets a flurry of offense but Mahal manages to knee Bateman
right in the back and slap the Camel Clutch on him, for the tap out.
Jinder Mahal is 2-0 on the new NXT. Mahal punishes Bateman with the
Camel Clutch.
Dusty Rhodes has just announced an impromptu six man tag team match.
Chris Russo and William Regal replaced Bryon Saxton with JR on
commentary.
Michael
McGillicutty, Camacho, and Hunico defeated Tyson Kidd, Seth Rollins,
and Bo Dallas
Solid six man tag team main event here right on WWE NXT. Bo Dallas is
trapped in the corner but hot tag to Kidd. Organized chaos but
McGullicutty hits his neckbreaker to pin his long time rival on NXT,
Tyson Kidd.
Slightly better but there seems to be some issues with the pacing
that this show needs to work out.
