WWE Summerslam 2012 Preview

WWE Summerslam 2012 will take place on Sunday Night August 19th 2012. Summerslam is the hottest wrestling event of the summer and each and every year, the even brought the goods. This Sunday Night, the Pay Per View Event will be headlined by two huge main event matches. CM Punk will put the WWE Championship on the line against John Cena and the Big Show. Brock Lesnar will go one on one with Triple H in a much anticipated match.

CM Punk has felt he was underlooked as WWE Champion despite the fact he has held it for many months. The Big Show and John Cena both want to reign on top as the champion. All three men will compete in a Triple Threat Match. CM Punk, the Big Show, and John Cena go for the gold right at WWE Summerslam.

Brock Lesnar returned after Wrestlemania 28 but the night at Extreme Rules, he broke Triple H's arm. After months, the match for WWE Summerslam is on. Both Brock Lesnar and his associate Paul Heyman made things personal. This Sunday, Triple H will step into the ring with Brock Lesnar at the hottest event of the summer.

Alberto Del Rio has chased the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus since Wrestlemania 28. The match was off for a spell but it is back on. Alberto Del Rio will try and achieve his destiny once more. Sheamus will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Alberto Del Rio.

Dolph Ziggler won the Money in the Bank Briefcase for the World Heavyweight Title. Chris Jericho returned in early 2012 and got into a scuffle with Ziggler as of late. Dolph Ziggler wants to move up tot he next level and the perfect stepping stone is Chris Jericho.

Over the past couple of months, Daniel Bryan has slipped down into mental instability. A.J. left him at the alter to be the new RAW General Manager and signed Bryan into a match with Kane. Kane against Daniel Bryan will be a clash of styles, but it has intriguing potential.

Titus O'Neil and Darren Young got together on NXT and moved over to Smackdown and RAW earlier this year. They have risen to the top but they still have fallen short at the WWE Tag Team Titles. The defending champions R-Truth and Kofi Kingston will not back down. The Prime Time Players challenge the WWE Tag Team Champions R-Truth and Kofi Kingston this Sunday.

The Miz hit the skids earlier this year, but returned with a vengeance and won the WWE Intercontinental Title. Rey Mysterio spent eleven months of his career on the shelf with an injury and returned for one more run. Rey Mysterio against the Miz could be the sleeper match of the night at WWE Summerslam as the Intercontinental Championship is on the line.

Plus on YouTube for free, thirty minutes before the show, the WWE United States Champion Santino Marella will put his belt on the line against Antonio Cesaro.
